Flower Essences for Self Care

Glorious Living with Macarena Luz Bianchi

As a florist, the summer is your opportunity to take better care of yourself and focus on rejuvenation, while you can.

Flower essences are the energetic and therapeutic properties of flowers. They are found in the morning dew of flowers. Unlike essential oils, essences do not posses the scent of flowers.

You may have seen the popular stress relief product line of Rescue Remedy from Dr. a Edward Bach which is made up of 5 flowers that the doctor called his crisis formula and has been in use since the 1930s. He developed a healing system using 38 wildflowers to balance mental wellbeing by identifying the mental state you want to balance such as taking Impatiens when feeling impatient.

Since I’m in the process of getting certified in this system, I recently visited the Bach Centre outside of London. Their website has fascinating case studies of how the remedies have helped people, animals, and plants.

I invite you to play with and discover the wonder, wellness, and wisdom of flower essences.
